I’ve been a devoted owner, fan and supporter of Bernese Mountain Dogs for over a decade. Sadly, my first Bernese, Aare, passed away in Spring 2007 one month shy of her 13th birthday. She was a remarkable and loving dog.
I am the creator and owner of the Bernese Mountain Dog Home Page (a/k/a berner.org), which I started in 1994. Berner.org is one of the oldest and most honored canine breed information websites on the Internet. I also created the Bernese Mountain Dog Mailing List (a/k/a berner-l) in 1995, which has subsequently morphed into a Yahoo Group of the same name.
